How to Write Specification
- Wording of specification must have following properties
- Clear - It must be clear and contains no ambiguity.
- Correct - Specification convey correctness
- Concise - It must be concise so that everything can be described within fewest words
- It must be definite and easy to understand
- It must be brief, easy and avoid repetition
Characteristics of Good Specification
- Specification must be brief
- Avoid long sentence
- Avoid long articles
- Use well known and acceptable abbreviation
- Don't say 'either', 'neither', 'and', 'etc' and use 'said' as adjective
